Thibault Cauvin, young parisian of 24 years old, is definitely one of the most talented, charismatic and demanded guitarist of the moment. He’s travelling the world with his guitar, all year long, invited by the most prestigious festivals and concerts hall. Between New York and Hong Kong, San Paolo and Istanbul, London and Melbourne or Singapore and Tel-Aviv, he shares his music with us. This young prodigy has already played more than 600 concerts on every continent, unanimously recognized by the critic, he is presented as “the ambassador of the new classical guitar”. He has also participated at many TV and radio programs and collaborated with famous musicians. He’s has played with great orchestras like El Orchestra National Simon Bolivar (Venezuela), The Philippines National Orchestra (Philippines), The Montana State Orchestra (USA), El Orchestra de la Coahulia (Mexico)... The famous composers Carlo Domeniconi, Dusan Bogdanovic, Atanas Ourkouzounov, Olivier Chassain, Pradeep Ratnayake, Sebastien Vachez or his father Philippe Cauvin, between others, dedicated him oeuvres. Despite his young age, Thibault is regularly invited by the most prestigious conservatories, universities and festivals through the world to give master-classes, lectures or to judge competitions, among them the San Francisco Conservatory (USA), the San Paolo music department (Brazil), the Montana state university (USA), the Winnipeg conservatory (Canada), El escuela superior de Musica de Monterrey (Mexico), the Manille University (Philippines), El festival de guitarra de Petrer Alicante (Spain), Le Festival de guitare de Rabat (Morrocco), the Victoria University (Canada), the Kosice Conservatory (Slovenia)…

Descendant from a musician family, Thibault began learning the guitar with his father as soon as he was 6 years old. After brilliant studies at the Bordeaux Conservatory, Paris Superior Conservatories, and having attended the masterclasses of brilliant interprète like Alvaro Pierri, David Russell, Judicaël Perroy, Aniello Desiderio, Eduardo Isaac, Roberto Aussel, Pavel Steidl, Thibault began the inevitable international concourse circuit. At 20, he’s the unique guitarist who has wan 13 international first prizes including the famous “Stotsenberg International Guitar Competition” in Los Angeles (USA), “Concurso Internazionale di Chitarra di Mottola” (Italy), “Forum Gitarre Wien” (Austria), ” Concurso Internacional de Guitarra Clàssica Sernancelhe” (Portugal), “San Francisco International Classical Guitar Competition” (USA)…

The two universes in whom Thibault grew up, the one of the classical music with the conservatories and the one of the actual musics with his family make him what he is today : the ambassador of the new “classical guitar”. He makes the most of the quality and beauty of the instrument, with, first and foremost, a passion that, shirred up by the bursting energy of his youth, irresistibly fascinates. Thibault presents a rich, intense and modern repertory.

He has recorded his first CD when he was 16 for the independent French label KI Record. Some years later helped by the French government one of his concerts in Radio France Paris is recorded and published by “Déclic”. In 2005 a third CD named “Bell’Italia”, composed by the greatest Italian composers throught the centuries, is published by the “Art Communicazione” company (Italy). His new album “N°4” is just out on the famous american label “GSP San Francisco”. This CD, composed of modern music influenced by various musical styles, gives a new dimension to the guitar…
