>Of all the young guitarists that I have been entrusted to teach over 30 years, so few have proved to be exceptional and have set themselves apart, some that I could count on the fingers of one hand. Some are untiring and insatiable, some passionate and not easy to tame, others exceptionally gifted and the most delicate for a teacher. There are also those that have acquired a good “savoir-faire”, a flawless technique, a beautiful musical expression, and even a certain aptitude to showcase their own talent, to make themselves known, those that have the necessary urge and ability to tackle a challenge, and a all-consuming desire to bring music to a wider audience, to cross the world, to become a more and more audacious ambassador of music…

>This inner wealth, this musical intelligence, this innate artistic sense, this delicate sensitivity, but also this overflowing energy, this youth enthusiasm, and this capability to make light obstacles, all these are characteristics present in the person whose merits I would like to praise ; because, with the advantage of having been the attentive witness of his early successes until those of today, between his time at the National Conservatory of Region of Bordeaux, and my class in the Highest National Conservatory of Music in Paris, I can confess that Thibault Cauvin has not only all human artistic qualities noted above ; above all else, he has a very extraordinary talent.
